We keep our dance class sizes small so that each student receives a high level of individual attention and space to remain physically distanced. We emphasize body positivity and inclusivity and encourage our students to attain personal bests rather than competing with their peers.
Our vision has always been to foster growth and confidence that you can carry with you outside of the studio. We are honoured to be a part of your dance and music journey!
OUR STUDIO
Our convenient location at 1461 Gerrard St. E., Toronto, offers ample parking nearby. The studio is close to grocery stores, restaurants, a library, an Early-On Centre, as well as retail and coffee shops, with a TTC stop outside our front entrance.

OUR STORY
Leslieville School of Dance & Music offers thorough and thoughtful education in a creative and nurturing environment. Director Kristen Dennis is a graduate of Canada’s National Ballet School and a former professional dancer of the National Ballet, Alberta Ballet, and Ballet British Columbia.
Over the years, Kristen has trained in ballet, jazz, contemporary, modern, character, and flamenco dancing. She is certified through the Imperial Society of Teachers in dance and has nearly two decades of dance teaching experience.
From The National Ballet of Canada, the prestigious Toronto Metropolitan University Dance Program, the Royal Danish Ballet, Petrouchka School of Ballet, and the renowned Deborah Colker Centre of Movement, to name only a few, our educators are of the highest calibre. With their help, we customize our dance curriculum to be above and beyond the traditional RAD standard.
We carefully select our instructors for their professional training and industry experience and their temperament, patience, and ability to inspire both children and adults alike. Every staff member at our studio is truly a great role model for their students and a valued part of our studio family.
